SingerNicole Singer, Dean of Students
Nicole Singer is a professional woman who has passion for changing the lives of everyone she meets.  She believes that everyone has a special gift and the potential for greatness that she is ready and willing to help them achieve.  Nicole knew at a young age she wanted to be a teacher, but it wasn’t until high school and the powerful influence of the business teachers in her educational journey that led her to earn a BA in Business Education from Bloomsburg University.  Having the philosophy that education is an ongoing process and that we always have something to learn, she earned her M. Ed from Wilkes University in education.  Her desire to make a bigger impact in not only students’ lives but in the entire school community, she is currently pursuing her Principal Certification through Bloomsburg University.  Upon completion, she will pursue her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Penn State University.  Nicole has been in education for over 20 years teaching in public education in rural and urban settings, serving as an adjunct professor at Bloomsburg University and providing educational instruction in the state prison system.  She is currently serving William Allen High School as the Dean of Students for the 2020 – 21 and 2021 – 22 school years.  When she isn’t at work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and her Pitbull/lab Bo, traveling, enhancing the lives of others through crafts, and cooking for friends and others.

normNorman Lohman, Dean of Students
Norm Lohman is a quintessential life-long-learner. Ambitious to exceed his parent’s high school education, Norm set himself on a determined path for higher education. Nearly 20 years after attaining an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Northampton Community College, and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from DeSales University as a single father, Mr. Lohman left the corporate arena to pursue a more meaningful career in teaching. His personal goal was to lead by example and demonstrate to his sons that a strong work ethic and vocational altruistic service to others will result in, and perpetuate, elevated success personally, professionally, and generationally. He imparts that ideology and experience to his students as well. Motivated by his passion for connecting with and affecting young people… having coached youth sports for 15 years prior, Norm approached the challenge with a compelling focus on attaining and exceeding the requirements put forth by the State of Pennsylvania to become a certified teacher and earn his Master’s of Science in Education. His first teaching experience was as a Long-Term Substitute 5th Grade teacher at Lehigh Valley Academy Charter School after which he taught Applied Math at the Career Institute of Technology (CIT). Norm had been a Business Ed Teacher at William Allen High School for 15 years when he decided to support teachers and students more comprehensively by earning a Principal Certification. Norm is currently serving his second year as a Dean of Students and will pursue a role as an Assistant Principal in the future. Norm is married with 3 sons and a grandson and continues to volunteer as a youth sports coach, play drums, and preserve family culinary traditions.
