It is our goal to provide a 1 to 1 device, so that each student receives their own ASD loaner device and one hotspot per family to stay educationally engaged.

The pickup location will be at the main entrance on 17th street from 8am to 3pm on scheduled school days. A parent or guardian listed in sapphire, with ID is required to borrow the device. Students entering 9th grade must return devices to their middle school before coming to Allen.

Fall Meals

The Allentown School District is excited to offer FREE meals this fall during our Virtual Campus. Meals will be available Monday through Friday when school is in session. The meal will include a breakfast and a lunch.  There is a choice of a cold meal or a meal you can reheat at home.  All Schools are open for meal pick-up.  Any child ages 5 - 18 in the Allentown community is welcome to participate. Meal Pick – up times are:
7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
10:30 AM - 1:30 PM
3:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Christmas City Studio, our official school photographer, will take Senior Portraits in the Cafeteria of the Ninth Grade Center, from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m., on the dates listed below. Seniors must call Christmas City Studio at 610-691-2109 to make an appointment to have their senior portrait taken.. (Please note that Christmas City Studio is following all safety protocols for portrait sessions.)

The dates the photographers from Christmas City Studio will be on campus:  October 19, October 20, November 16, November 17, November 18, December 1, December 2, December 7, December 8, December 14, December 15, and  December 16.

Seniors may also choose to have their senior portrait taken at Christmas City Studio's facility in Bethlehem Township. If the senior chooses to go to the actual studio for his or her appointment, he or she needs to make the appropriate arrangements when he or she calls for the appointment.

The absolute and final deadline for the seniors to have their portrait taken is December 31, 2020. Portraits taken after December 31 will NOT appear in the 2021 edition of the Comus, William Allen High School's yearbook.










William Allen High School has a College & Career Center Google Classroom for seniors. The class code nhvmckd. Students were invited to the College & Career Center for Allen Seniors via their school email (Student ID #@allentownsd.org). Mrs. Duggan is providing college & career guidance and will answer student specific questions about college applications and financial aid. Check the Google Classroom often for important information. 

The William Allen High School Canary Marching Band is running a clothing drive fundraiser.  If you have any clothing that you are willing to donate, please do so on the attached flyers times and dates.  The band sorts the clothing to manageable bags and then loads it onto a truck.  This company washes, sorts, and re distributes the clothing to local and national places that are in need of donated clothing.  Please see the attached flyer the times and dates to drop off your donations at the school and thank you for your efforts to support your local school band as well as people in need of clothing.

William Allen High School is one of 3 high schools located in the city of Allentown. 
The richness of The Allentown School District's diversity is strengthened by its central role in educating our students for America's future through academic excellence and celebrating the culturally responsive, athletic and artistic range of talent in the schools. ASD students originate from 51 countries and speak 26 languages. There are twenty-five academic buildings throughout the City. 

During the 2016-2017 school year, the district enrolled 16,628 students across 15 Elementary & Early Childhood Centers (7,976), 4 Middle Schools (3,421) and 3 High Schools (5,231).  The Allentown School District has 2,429 personnel.

89.1% of our families are denoted as Low Income, and 100% receive Free/Reduced Lunch.  ASD is the third largest urban school system out of 500 Districts in the Commonwealth and serves a community with a poverty rate of 38.64% of the City's population. (2013 Census).
