We have some official news to share as we get closer to the big day. Continue working hard and attending classes, in person or virtually, to ensure you are walking across the stage at J Birney Crum Stadium. SAVE THE DATE, The WAHS Class of 2021 Graduation is announced for Saturday, June 19th, @ 6PM. The rain date is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23rd, @ 6PM. Please stay tuned for additional information about graduation practice, cap and gown, and ticket information.

Order Your Yearbook

In order to reserve a copy of the 2021 edition of William Allen High School's Yearbook, Comus, students must visit the Jostens Yearbook site.  The yearbook cost is $63.60, and payment may  be made using a debit card or a credit card.  We are unable to accept cash or check payments at this time.  

The yearbooks will be distributed at the end of the school year.  If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Iles at ilesp@allentownsd.org.

 We are looking to dedicate the front of our gymnasium (J Milo Sewards Gym) in honor of a worthy contributor to William Allen HS Athletics and its student-athletes.  If anyone is interested or would like to suggest a person(s) they would recommend for the dedication, please contact AtiyehR@allentownsd.org. It is our goal to provide a 1 to 1 device, so that each student receives their own ASD loaner device and one hotspot per family to stay educationally engaged.

The pickup location will be at the main entrance on 17th street from 8am to 3pm on scheduled school days. A parent or guardian listed in sapphire, with ID is required to borrow the device. Students entering 9th grade must return devices to their middle school before coming to Allen. 


Even as students learn remotely, the Allentown School District continues to offer meals for students and families! 

Tuesday, April 6, Wednesday, April 7, and Friday, April 9
Monday, April 12, Wednesday, April 14, Friday, April 16

Allen HS will be open from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. 
Central, Sheridan, Ramos, and South Mountain MS will be open from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

You do not need to come to your regular school building to receive your meal. Instead, feel free to walk, drive, or bike to the closest school to your home.  Meals are available to any child under the age of 18. No ID is needed and students do not need to be present to receive meals.

William Allen High School has a College & Career Center Google Classroom for seniors. The class code nhvmckd. Students were invited to the College & Career Center for Allen Seniors via their school email (Student ID #@allentownsd.org). Mrs. Duggan is providing college & career guidance and will answer student specific questions about college applications and financial aid. Check the Google Classroom often for important information. 


William Allen High School is one of 3 high schools located in the city of Allentown. 
The richness of The Allentown School District's diversity is strengthened by its central role in educating our students for America's future through academic excellence and celebrating the culturally responsive, athletic and artistic range of talent in the schools. ASD students originate from 51 countries and speak 26 languages. There are twenty-five academic buildings throughout the City. 

During the 2016-2017 school year, the district enrolled 16,628 students across 15 Elementary & Early Childhood Centers (7,976), 4 Middle Schools (3,421) and 3 High Schools (5,231).  The Allentown School District has 2,429 personnel.

89.1% of our families are denoted as Low Income, and 100% receive Free/Reduced Lunch.  ASD is the third largest urban school system out of 500 Districts in the Commonwealth and serves a community with a poverty rate of 38.64% of the City's population. (2013 Census).
