WAHS Construction Co. Receives Grant from MLB
On Thursday, May 10, 2018, representatives from the William Allen Construction Company presented a plan to the Allentown School District Board of Directors involving renovations to the baseball and softball fields next to J. Birney Crum Stadium.
With assistance from the Allentown School District Foundation, WAHS Construction Co. also announced that it had been selected as a recipient of a grant from the Baseball Tomorrow Fund sponsored by Major League Baseball.
Plans include the installation of new dugouts and improvements to the field spaces.
The WAHS Construction Company is a student-led group that has completed a variety of construction projects on campus! Projects at Allen have included installation of LED lights, the construction of the schools bus shelter and restoration of the historic auditorium mural.
