Vocal Groups

We have two very active vocal groups:

  • Chorale

    • The Allen Chorale performs throughout the community and at special events in the Lehigh Valley. In 2013, the Chorale received the Arts Ovation award from the Allentown Arts Commission for their dedication to serving the residents of Allentown.

    • The Chorale, was founded in 1970 by the late George Boyer, and evolved into a year-round, audition-based show/jazz/chamber choir under the direction of Patrick Brady. As part of its foundation, the Chorale has a strict membership policy that requires students to maintain exemplary academic records as well as outstanding disciplinary and attendance records.

  • AllenCapella

    • AllenCapella, the school's a cappella group, was created in the fall of 2013 as a student-centered performance group. They perform at various activities throughout the community and host an annual showcase of regional a cappella groups.
